"By reflexive, I mean the act of turning back to discover, examine, and critique one's claims and assumptions in response to an encounter with another idea, text, person, or culture. By inquiry, l mean "the sustained work" of coming to understand "through a systematic, self-crItical process of discovery.""

And how can I form my understanding of other topics at the same time? An understanding of an idea is a gradual process that is formed through conversation.
